The Family BBQ is an opportunity to introduce the incoming Freshman to our school culture, expectations and the layout of the building. AMS II truly believes college readiness begins the moment the students step through our doors. We use this time to discuss Graduation Requirements, 9th grade student expectations and college and career readiness program introduction. At the same time, we know the young scholars want to have fun so we transform our parking lot into a colorful BBQ filled with music, decorated tables, tons of food and festive families. We had over 200 families attend this years Welcome Family BBQ for our incoming class of 2022 and 30 from the class of 2021, it was a huge success!
