Central Park East High School was founded almost 30 years ago as one of the first small and innovative high schools in New York City. We pride ourselves on offering the academic and extracurricular choices and opportunities of a large school in our intimate, small-school environment. We prepare students for college by offering a multitude of rigorous, accelerated classes as well as access to many high-quality programs through partnerships with communitybased college-access programs.
