Class of 2023:

The Class of 2023 are officially alumnis! We are proud to announce that we have a 100% graduation rate and overall $4.1 million dollars in scholarships. The Class of 2023 are presently attending schools such as; St. John’s University. Boston University, SUNY StonyBrook, New York Institute of Technology and more! We also have students that are enrolled in the military and attending trade school.

New Visions Charter School at AMSIV has exceeded our Post-Secondary goals and we are excited to see what The Class of 2024 has in store for us!

College and Career Readiness

This college ready course can be used as part of your requirements for graduation. CCR is designed to provide an in depth overview of the college and career process. Lecture presentations begins with an introduction of characteristics and qualities of a successful “college ready” scholar and an reflection of the high school journey thus far. Scholars then learn about various colleges and careers as well as the specific requirements needed to pursue these paths. Overall, scholars will ultimately have tangible items and portfolios that displays their strengths and culmination of past experiences with which they will be able to articulate their interest and future plans.

Students will be able to:

1. Recognize and understand college and career terminology.
2. Apply and connect concepts of college and career readiness to their future.
3. Use essential Life skills to knowledge to adapt and excel in learning environments.
4. Describe their personality and interest and connect it to various career paths.
5. Articulate and discuss their needs and wants for their future plans along with ways in which they plan on executing and following through and making life changing decisions.
