Last year, AMS II students and residents of the South Bronx neighborhood probably saw the sleek, high-tech lab parked right outside our building on Tinton Ave. With such a large and in charge metal frame, the bus is hard to miss, and groups of scholars walking in and out of the bus with big smiles on their faces proves how cool it is inside. Students spend time exploring and enjoying a hands-on, functional, working laboratory and scientific experience without having to travel to Manhattan or worse!

The BioBus mission is to help minority, female, and low-income K - 12 and college students in New York City discover, explore, and pursue science. Through this work, they envision a world where all people have the opportunity to reach their full scientific potential.
